Shankara Institute of Technology is run by S.K. Chaudhary Educational Trust (SKCET) which was established in 2001. SIT is located on the Delhi-Jaipur highway, NH-8 at the foothills of Aravali Range in RIICO Industrial Area, Kukas, Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a private institute, affiliated with the Rajasthan Technical University and the University of Rajasthan.
